Member Prospecting
1. Purpose
To ensure each store manager dedicates time to prospecting and acquiring new members while maintaining proper reporting and coordination.
2. Scheduling & Responsibilities
- Each store manager will dedicate one day per week to prospecting.
- The store will be staffed accordingly to allow the manager to focus on this task.
- Prospecting includes:
✅ Following up on existing leads.
✅ Sourcing new leads at festivals, sales events (Scott’s, Lakewood, The Mart), and other key locations.
3. Planning & Coordination
- Managers must log their prospecting day in the BM Berry calendar and share it with Jason and Abe.
- The calendar entry must include:
✅ Specific stores, events, or locations for that day. - Managers will rotate attendance at ongoing events, ensuring no overlap:
✅ Different buildings at Scott’s and The Mart.
✅ Different vendor types at Lakewood. - Jason may assign and accompany managers for outreach events.
4. Reporting & Documentation
- After prospecting, managers must:
✅ Complete a Prospecting Report (attached).
✅ Add the report details to their BM Berry calendar entry.
✅ Update the CRM log with lead information as needed.
