1. Purpose & Objectives

The Sales and Discount Communication Policy ensures that all pricing adjustments are properly documented and authorized by:
✅ Maintaining accurate records of all price changes and discounts.
✅ Preventing unauthorized or miscommunicated price adjustments.
✅ Ensuring consistency and professionalism in sales practices.
✅ Protecting both Westside Market and its members from pricing errors or financial losses.

2.Guidelines

📌 All communication regarding product sales or discounts must be submitted through the BMBerry software via the member portal.

📌 To ensure accurate and authorized pricing adjustments, all changes must be submitted through the member portal—verbal approvals or emails will NOT be accepted.

📌 Westside Market staff does not have access to modify pricing on behalf of members.

3.Additional Requirements

✅ If a sale is approved for a specific time frame, all details must be documented in writing, including:
✔ Approved discount amounts or percentages.
✔ Sales period with a clear end date.

✅ Maintaining a written record ensures transparency and minimizes pricing errors.

✅ Even if a price change is discussed over the phone, email confirmation is required unless there is already documented approval.

✅ Once approval is confirmed:
✔ Store management will create an official sale sign.
✔ The sign will include the sale percentage, start and end dates, consignor ID, and space number.
✔ The sign will be placed inside the member's space and removed once the sale ends.

🚨 Failure to follow these standards may result in disciplinary action.
